At Puro Peru Restaurant recommended by our doctor friend from Peru, our lunch morphed into platters of citrus -marinated ceviche of salmon, sole, and tuna and mounds of assorted kinds of potatoes I've never seen in North America. We washed our food down with Peruvian liquid nirvana called pisco sour. There were more than a hundred variety of food on the buffet table, carefully presented in seductive colors and smell.

The Peruvian cooking has mixes of chili and limes, it is a blend of contrasting culture from Amazon -inspired to Spanish cooking. Prior to this Peruvian feast, none of us have tried genuine Peruvian food. The want intensified as we began to read about the food scene in Peru. It is a moment to savor and one of the best meals of our life!
