COLABA is a bustling district packed with street stalls, markets, resto-bars and various lodging facilities. This is the one place in Mumbai which seems like a carnival the entire year. Colaba is in Mumbai's southernmost peninsula. You can easily reach the place by taking cabs. Colaba Causeway Market is also near Bandra and the Hanging Gardens. Popular destinations like Elephanta Caves and the Gateway of India are some of the nearby places. Colaba is connected by train to CST or Churchgate station. There are regular buses and taxis from the stations.

CHOR BAZAAR
If you are somebody who loves to collect odd little trinkets or antique stuffs, you will simply love this place, no doubts about it! One of the famous legends related to Chor Bazaar is that on her visit to Bombay, some of the personal belongings of Queen Victoria got lost during the unloading from the ship. Amongst these was a violin, which was later found in the Chor Bazaar along with some of her other belongings. It was then that the market started being referred to as Chor bazaar or Theives' market. A popular saying about this market goes like, "If you loose something in Mumbai, you can buy it back from Chor Bazaar."
Bhuleshwar market area is a must visit for anyone looking to experience the culture of the city. This place is famous for being home to more than 100 temples, of which Swaminarayan Temple and Mumba devi temple are noted examples. The market is mainly famous for selling fruits and vegetables, but is surrounded by many well known old markets like Crawford market, Zaveri Bazaar and Chor bazaar.

Bhuleshwar Market is a busy and popular market in Mumbai. The items sold here have a wide range of variety with the lowest prices offered against the products.
